Due to my course of study and work, it was not easy for me, I have to study to pass my exams as a mechanical engineering student and I have to earn money to support my education. Those things were not very easy for me but I had no option as I was enjoying the benefit and wanted a degree for myself.

1. Prepare for your startup
Just as you need to prepare for every business you are starting, you also need to prepare to start making money online as a beginner.
There are some gadgets you need to start and those gadgets are required for you to be successful in the online business.
I see many people posting videos on how to make money online with just your smartphone and I will be like WHAT!
Do not get me wrong, there are a few ways to make money with your phone but that doesn’t count as really making money because the money won’t be enough to buy your monthly data subscription.
As someone that seriously wants to make money online, there are things you need which I will be listing below, so try to get them in order to succeed.
1. A laptop that can perfume well
You need a laptop that has good performance, am not saying you should buy an expensive laptop, there are lots of decently priced laptop you should get that will really perform well.
2. Nice smartphone with a good camera and good performance
You will need a good phone that can give you at least a nice performance. Tecno phones can do that for you as the company has really improved in the production of good performing phones for cheaper prices.
3. Working space
You need a space in your room that you can set as your office, this space should be where your work should be based. Always keep that space clean and make sure all your working Materia are kept there.
4. Steady supply of electricity
This one is very important, you need to have a steady supply of electricity to enable you to maximize how much you will be making. We have 24 hours in a day and you maybe sleep for 6 to 8 hours. The remaining 16 to 18 hours should count, you shouldn’t relax because you do not have an electricity supply.
Having a good power bank can solve this very problem. I had a problem with electricity when o started, so what I did was hustle for money, once I got a sufficient amount, I purchased an HP laptop power bank which I also used to charge my phone then. It was really helpful to me, at least I know I can be getting a steady supply of electricity.
These are the things that are needed to be put in place in order for you to start making the money online. If you can not get all you need at least get the most important one and start your journey.
2. Choose a niche and a platform
When I started, no one told me how important it was to choose your specialized niche and define the niche including the medium you want to use. I started watching YouTube videos and doing whatever the video advised me to do. Though I got some money it was not worth the stress I had to go through.
I was stressing my brain including adding uploading things that are not supposed to be there into it, after a long time I got exhausted and was thinking of quitting.
Had someone told me that I need a niche to start making money, it would have been a different story for me. So after trying, many things, I decided to calm down and reason things through.
I studied how those who made it online were able to do it. One thing I found was all of them had a niche and a platform and I decide to follow suit and that’s when my money started coming.
You must choose a niche you are knowledgeable in
Choose a niche you have knowledge about, if you’re good at writing, start as a freelance writer. If you are funny, start an s comedian and use YouTube, Facebook and tiktok as your platform.
if you are a phone enthusiast, start a channel on YouTube, Facebook and tiktok where you talk about phones and give people advice.
Monetize your niche
The reason you started in the first place was to make money so in every niche you find yourself, look for ways to monetize it.
Every niche I have seen is monetized table so make sure you are making money from any niche you have chosen for yourself.
